Agathosma serpyllacea, also known as thyme buchu, is a visually striking, rounded shrublet with pink, white, or purple flowers. It thrives in sandy soils and is becoming popular for landscaping, as it can be grown in pots and is adaptable to both alkaline and acidic soils. To grow it, sow the seeds in autumn in a well-draining medium, and after 8 to 9 months, the plants will be ready for transplanting. It can also be propagated from cuttings.
