Common names: honey heath, erica heath (English).
Botanical name: Erica ericoides

Erica ericoides, also called honey heath, is a compact evergreen shrub that produces dense clusters of small, honey-scented pink flowers attractive to bees. It thrives in well-drained acidic soil in full sun. Regular pruning after flowering encourages new growth. Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings in spring and autumn. Plant with other fynbos plants but avoid overcrowding. Erica ericoides works well in pots and as low hedging.
