Location

Intern will be based at our Cape Town Indigenous Nursery and Botanical Studio – 83 Kloof Nek Road, Gardens, Cape Town. (Map)

Responsibilities

  • Care and cultivation of indigenous plants with a focus on medicine and food plants, as well as plants to support local biodiversity.
  • Creating beneficial, indigenous gardens large and small in the Mother City for residents and businesses – including balconies, roof tops, and community gardens.
  • Education and training workshops for children, adults, and healthcare professionals in the cultivation and safe, effective, sustainable use of indigenous plants.
  • Sales and plant care advise to customers at the nursery.
