A workshop for landscape designers and contractors.

How to create a fynbos garden that lasts more than a few years?
In this workshop we’ll look at fynbos ecology and plant growth habits, to understand why some species are short-lived and how best to use them in your designs.

We will look at plant species selection, and planting designs to create year-round structure and seasonal interest. There will be plenty of opportunities for sharing knowledge and experience with fellow landscapers.

We will talk about plant quality, soil preparation and watering, how these affect the lifespan of the planting. And look at aspects of maintenance, so that you have the option of offering this as a maintenance package to clients.
