MEDICAL CANNABIS COURSE – for healthcare professionals
A two-day, integrative, evidence-based course on medical cannabis and its safe, ethical, and effective use in clinical practice. Open to medical doctors, veterinarians, pharmacists, phytotherapists and traditional herbalists. No previous experience with medical cannabis required. Limited to 30 delegates, with 6 tickets allocated to each profession.

Schedule: Saturday 9am-5pm; Sunday 9am-3pm
Aim: To present what healthcare professionals need to know about medical cannabis. Empowering healthcare professionals to make sound clinical decisions; provide informed advice and education; support quality products and ethical enterprises; collaborate on essential research; and promote local and national policies that nurture the health and wellbeing of our communities, and the planet too. This course will be followed by further courses on herbal medicine for healthcare professionals.
Topics: Subjects covered include: history of use, legalities, botany, self-medication, traditional medicine, genetics, phytochemistry, pharmacology, side-effects, safety and toxicity, preparations, research, cultivation, economics. Therapeutics will include: first-aid use, primary healthcare, anxiety, pain, anorexia, nausea and vomiting, glaucoma, epilepsy, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, ADHD and ASD, CNS trauma, neoplasia, and neurodegenerative disorders including MS.

Refund policy: Tickets will be refunded in full if the course is cancelled for any reason. Tickets can be transferred if you cannot attend. Email us to arrange the transfer.
