Plant Summary

Aloinopsis rubrolineata is a small succulent plant native to South Africa, where it grows on low dolerite hills and slopes. It has dark olive-green, tongue-like leaves covered with small, round tubercles, and bright yellow flowers with red mid-stripes that appear in winter. It has a massive root system that can be exposed above ground, forming a caudiciform with age. It prefers a very porous potting mix, plenty of light, and minimal water in summer. It is cold-hardy and can be grown in the ground or in a container.
