The cluster-leaf brightfig, Lampranthus emarginatus, is a succulent shrub that can grow up to 25 cm tall, with grey-green, mottled, and triangular leaves that have reddish tips. It is a good pot plant that provides food for honeybees and flies attracted to the purple flowers. Lampranthus plants are sensitive to overwatering and can quickly die if watered incorrectly. In the summer, water the plants no more than once a week, and allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
