Ixia dubia, called the yellow kalossie, is a vibrant bulbous plant native to the Western Cape. Growing up to 60cm tall, it produces sword-shaped leaves and a captivating display of orange to yellow flowers with a dark center, blooming between October and December. It thrives in well-drained sandy soil and prefers full sun, making it perfect for sunny flower beds.
